PEOPLE’S VOICES. COMMUNITY POWER. REAL CHANGE.
Isiolo Advocacy Network is a youth-led Community-Based Organization working in Isiolo County to achieve social justice, gender equality, and poverty eradication. We commit to working with youth, especially young women, to claim and realize their rights through three pillars: empowerment, solidarity and campaigning.
What We Offer
OUR WORK
We work alongside communities to advance justice, equality, climate action and inclusive development in Isiolo County.
SDG 1 – No Poverty
Strengthen community livelihoods through skills development, youth empowerment, climate-resilient initiatives, and economic inclusion programs.
SDG 5 – Gender Equality
Supporting women and girls to claim their rights and participate fully in community life.
…
We promote sustainable energy solutions that reduce environmental degradation and improve livelihoods.
SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities
We amplify the voices of marginalized communities, especially youth, women, persons with disabilities, and pastoralist communities. We advocate for inclusive policies and equitable access to resources and opportunities.
SDG 13 – Climate Action
We support environmental conservation initiatives, and use storytelling and film to drive climate accountability and resilience.
SDG 16 – Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions
Real change begins at the grassroots. When communities rise, systems transform.
FROM THE COMMUNITY
Change is built with people. From youth-led advocacy to climate action and community organising, our work is rooted in the experiences, ideas and leadership of the people of Isiolo.
YOUNG PEOPLE ARE LEADING THE CHANGE
Young people across Isiolo are using creativity, advocacy and community action to speak up on the issues that matter to them. Through training, campaigns and digital storytelling, we are helping amplify their voices and strengthen their participation in shaping their communities.
